We're not in Texas Anymore

I absolutely do not get it. What exactly are we doing here ?!

I decided to give this club a try late Friday afternoon. After all, it bills itself as an all-nude strip club in California. $18 entrance fee includes a drink. $20 regular dance. $40 couch dance. $100 6 songs VIP dance. $150 half an hour VIP. Parking as mentioned by other reviewers is minimal about 15-20 cars. The club itself looks decent. Lots of places to sit... tables couches and even private seating areas. There's even a super private area where the cubby could be closed off with a curtain. I assume the VIP dances could be done there. Prices seems to be reasonable for California. This is where the good part ends.

I watched my first dance. The girl tattooed all over the place. It might be a matter of taste or my age. Not interested at all. I see a guy take a seat by the stage and place a couple of dollar bills in front of him on the ledge. The dancer keeps on dancing. He places some more dollar bill. The dancer keeps on dancing. More eye contact. More flashing towards him but nothing special in my book. He eventually places more dollar bills that falls on the dance floor. The dancer keeps dancing. Hmmm Ok ? I'm starting to get confused. So I followed his lead and come close to the stage. I place my own dollar bill on the ledge of the dance floor. Nothing. The dancer keeps dancing. Not even coming close to where I could see her better. The other guy places more dollar bills on the stage. Nothing. I'm like... what are we doing here ? In Texas (and other places I've been to) I get to place the dollar bill on a garter. I get to see the lady up close... and for a few more dollars I get my face into her tits as a thank you. I watched a 3 more dances and watched the other patrons to see how things work here. Unfortunately, the same protocols happen. I don't get excited throwing my dollars on a dance floor or ledge. I wonder if its a local thing... because I don't think its a California thing. I've had more contact in another California strip club.

BTW, out of the 6 dancers that walked around. Not a single one really held my attention (that definitely trying to put it nicely). 3 of them obese... the other 2 frighteningly skinny... 1 healthy looking black lady.
