Good club but bad VIP room experience

Went here on a Saturday night. Had gone to another downtown club right before, which was dead and the girls below average. By contrast, this place was hopping, and there were are a lot of good to very good looking dancers. Table dances were $20. Did a VIP room with one, and was having a great time until suddenly one of the managers barged in, yelled at the dancer to tone it down, and then abruptly left. Straight up, there was nothing going on but the standard grinding and dancing.

I was floored and then very irritated. Why would I pay extra money to get a private room if the dancer can basically do less or then what's done at a table dance? The dancer was apologetic and asked if I wanted her to find out what the problem was. I said yes. She came back 10 minutes later and said the manger denied doing it. The whole thing put a sour taste in my mouth, and although the dancer added 10 minutes back on the clock, I couldn't really get past it.

The only thing I can think of is that they asked me to tip the room manager upfront, which I declined to do, and he got ticked off and wanted to clear the room for someone else for him to make an extra buck. But I wasn't going to tip anyone upfront until I saw what I got - then I would have gladly done so if things went well. That doesn't seem unreasonable to me. At any rate, I think it's a nice-looking club with good dancers; I would just pass on the VIP stuff.
