Going Downhill Fast

I have reviewed this club before but this review will be much different from my previous review. This used to be a great club to visit but unfortunately that has changed. My most recent visit was on a Saturday night. The club is currently being renovated. While the club is being renovated, it has set up shop next door at the old sex store. I entered the club around 1:45 and made my way into the lobby. I went to the front desk and nobody was there.

After about 5 minutes, the DJ came up there and asked if I was trying to come in (why the hell else would I be hanging out in the lobby). I said yes and he asked if I had my I.D. I shook my head and he said show it to the bartender if I wanted to get a drink. He buzzed the door and let me in with no cover. I walked in and started making my way towards the bar. I looked around the room and was amazed to see maybe a dozen customers in there (shocking for a Saturday night). I finally made it to the bar and ordered two beers since it was last call. The beers were $4.75. I gave the bartender $9.50 and a $4 tip ($13.50 spent so far). I grabbed my beers and found a table to sit down at. There were around 10 girls working (though I did see a few girls in street clothes leaving so I'm not sure how many were there prior to my arrival). One of the dancers recognized me from another club so she came over and said hello. She was complaining about how slow it was and how she was not making money. She was called to the stage so she said she would be back.

As she was dancing on stage, other girls would jump up on stage and start dancing with her or dance for the customers when they came up to tip. I never made my way to the stage to tip her because I didn't want any of the other girls jumping in front of her and stealing her tips. A few minutes after she got off stage, she made her way back to my table with a cute little blonde in tow. She hugged me and said it was great seeing me but she was leaving and that it was her last night there since she wasn't making money. The cute blonde stayed at my table and chatted with me for another half an hour or so. She kept talking about how slow it was in there and how she wasn't making any money. She said she used to work in Myrtle Beach and there were a whole bunch of rich guys there and everybody in Greensboro was broke. She said in Myrtle Beach she could sit in the corner and guys would give her money but in Greensboro she has to work and actually talk to guys to make money and she shouldn't have to talk to guys to make money.
