Summer's over

Let the first robin heralds spring, the first coed heralds the end of summer at the Hi Liter. At least six bright faced coed types in view on this visit. All perky and nice looking. There was also the consistent ones: Amanda was there (did not catch what name she was using), Butterfly, Tracy (who was coming in as I was going out) and Jesse.

I was there about 12:30 p.m. and am always amazed at the number of PL's at that time. While the number can hurt for getting dances, I like the vibe of a club that is almost filled. When it gets too filled, no one goes there because it is too crowded. In any event, a nice number there today. It did not seem that there was the usual hustle by the dancers which I appreciate. I hate saying no politely a few times every song or so. I can almost always get the dancer I want to come over and some dancers do not take rejection well. Of course, Amanda and Butterfly do not have to hustle (their mere presence is enough to have guys clamoring for them) and the coeds seemed to be just getting warmed up.

There was also the usual mix of older dancers and Latins, but there did not seem to be many Cubans as I remember. All in all a very good mix.
