A Proverb Says...

A proverb I heard several years ago says that one of the best uses of $20 is to loan it to a new acquaintance/business partner. Based on if/when the money gets paid back, you'll learn quite a bit about that person's character. This is pretty much how I felt after my happy hour visit to the Crazy Horse.

Got there a little after 5 between work and a Tribe game. No cover, beers started at $3, 1 waitress, 1 bartender, 4 dancers (pair of 3s, 4 who suffered from a severe lack of personality, and a 6 who had more tattoos than I typically go for). Dancers rotated between 2 song sets with one off between girls. Had a couple of beers, tipped the 4 as a way of getting her to leave, tipped the 6 on stage a few times but she was too busy with a regular to come by. Didn't spend any money on dances, but there was a pretty large sign indicating that the lap dance contact would be kept to a minimum. Headed off to the game 90 minutes later with $20 less in my pocket and no desire to come back.

Most entertaining part of the night was probably the bartender. Far and away the best looking woman in the bar and a drink or two too many in her system. She said some crazy things and took a couple of opportunities to flash the regulars at the bar for a few bucks between girls' sets.
