After a nondescript visit to Torpedo's, I got to HBG around 4. I was going to drive around the town a bit, and it happens that Club 22 is on that path. Strangely enough, 22 was still open. I thought all HBG spots closed at 2. Still feeling the effects of Torpedo's...and getting stopped on the way back...I decided to pay the 15 to finish off the HBG trifecta even though I only had a half hour before closing.

Whoever mentioned the decor was not lying. That place looks like Karen Hill from Goodfellas designed every room with the intent of every room being different. It's just...wow. It's easily the most decorated club I've ever gone to. Not best decorated, most decorated. There's stuff everywhere. All kinds of paintings on the walls, about a million tables...and the place is a lot bigger than I thought it was. A lot bigger. I was in disbelief as I walked around. It's bigger than the main area of Savannah's: might be bigger than all of Savannah's. Due to the size, I'd like to see it with 30-40 dancers...but something tells me their dancer numbers are closer to AW than Savannah's.

When you walk in there's an entry area with plenty of signage (dance prices, no cell phones, can't ask for a refund on cover once you enter the club). To the right is the main area with the main stage up front and a stage on the side. Bathrooms are in the back of that area, and there are other rooms to the right. The VIP is in the front of the far right area, and as you might imagine it has those beads from the 60s in the door space. I hadn't seen those 25 years before last night. Looks like the dancer dressing room might be in the back of the far right section of the club.
