New House Fee Added to LD Cost

It was a few months since I was at EB and decided to check it our while driving through the area. Ready to hand the doorman a $5 and was surprised he didn't take it. Instead, he mumbled something about a VIP area around the bar (to the left as you walk in) where the dancers don't bother you. Enjoyed saving the entry fee, had my usual couple beers before deciding on a dancer to take back for an LD.

Then noticed the sign that $20 goes to the doorman EACH time you enter that area for dances. Changed the plan - can't afford to check out a few dancers before deciding who to have extra dances with. $40 for first dance vs. $20 sure adds up. Felt stuck with the dancer I chose, but figured I'd make the most of it. Glad I did, because enjoyed the 3-4 dances I had and left happy. Hurt to pay the extra $20, but that's their gig for now. Not sure if they do this all the time now, but be aware of the new rules and plan accordingly.
