Good club but ROB warning
This is mostly a public service announcement about a dancer who works at Landing Strip that I would like to recommend that customers avoid. But first let me say that in general Landing Strip is an excellent strip club. Most of the dancers are attractive, honest and provide excellent entertainment in the private dance area. My only minor complaints about the club are a) requiring valet parking that is really unnecessary given the safe neighborhood location and b) allowing smoking by some customers and dancers inside the club. Otherwise, the club is one of my favorites in metro Detroit, especially noteworthy for the quality of the day shift dancers.
I seldom mention dancer names on a public forum but when I encounter a dancer who attempts to overcharge or is deceptive, I feel some obligation to warn other potential customers. Taya (she may also dance under the name of Nikki) has a very nice, slender body, long curly blonde hair and a pretty face. She is most readily identified by the set of wings that are tattooed on her sternum and collar bone area (on the FRONT of her body). She says that she moved to Michigan from Texas (Houston, more precisely) because she can have more fun in the Michigan clubs.
She talks a good game but attempts to charge outrageous prices for her ITC services and also attempts to overcharge regarding the number of dances. I have no reservations about a dancer charging whatever she wants--- it is buyer beware--- but the level of deception is worth posting a warning to others, especially those who are neophytes and unfamiliar with negotiating before proceeding to the private dance area. By the way, she used to work at Flight Club and her shady business practices attracted lots of discussion and commentary on a local discussion board (ie. Two Sheds).
