Went to The Katch on Saturday...

Went to The Katch on Saturday night, 15 April 2006. They had a $10 cover and they do not sell booze, but you can get beer and other malt beverages at the bar next door in the same building and bring them in in a white bag. The bottles were, I think, $3.75 each. We went next door, got our booze, and went back into The Katch. We showed the woman behind the glass at The Katch the ink marks on our hands (showing we had already paid their ridiculous $10 cover) and she inspected the bag to see what we were bringing in. She also asked when we got it. Apparently, you can BYOB but only if you purchase it next door, at least that is the impression that I got. The so-called bartender in The Katch will sell you soft drinks and he will give you an ice bucket to put you BYOB bottles in. Be sure to tip him.

Inside there were some hot girls (along with the one overweight EEOC-required fat chick). I don't think there was one who was below a 5. Some girls strip down on stage nude, some don't. Guess what? If they don't take off the bottoms, they don't get tipped by me! The girls would come around occasionally and offer $10 table dances or $25 couch dances. A buddy got a couple of couch dances and was QUITE happy with the grindage he received. (Sorry, I don't know the girls' names who gave him the couch dances, but they were both brunettes). Personally, I liked the slim blondes in there, not because they were cuties, but because they had nice personalities. Well, that and the fact one of them stuck her tongue in my ear when I tipped her on stage!

Although you can see The Katch from I-40 on the northside of the road, it's not the easiest place to find. Coming off the south/west bound side of I-40 take the first right immediately after you come off the ramp then follow the road on around into the industrial park and look for the little green street sign that says OMNI LANE on your right. I suggest you go to http://maps.google.com and punch in "omni lane; knoxville, tn" and pull up the map...then click where is says "Hybrid" to get a satellite view of the area with an overlay of the roads.
