Georgie's is done in my books

Stopped by a few thursdays back. I read the comments on here about there being no VIP room anymore, which let's be honest is what kept Georgie's open in the first place. Walk in and sit at the bar, look back and it's true, no VIP. There's a huge pool table there now. Figured I'd try my luck and see if a good looking dancer walked up. Ordered a bud light and sat their for 10 minutes before being approached by the 50 year old who always seems to work their. Asked if I wanted a dance and I politely said no. This must of pissed her off as she stormed off. There was another dancer, decent looking AA playing pool with a customer but I didn't stick around. I had some good times in the VIP at Georgie's, but it looks like I can finally cross this place off my list.

On the plus side I did start a chat with Georgie while I was there. I've never had a problem with him. He said he hoped that shutting down the VIP would bring a better crowd, but instead it brought no crowd. Maybe this means he'll reconsider but until then I'll be done.

Akron scene has been awful lately, anyone else having any luck at any of the other area clubs?
