Better than it used to be
In my first experience with this club some 15+ years ago, it had the comfort and ambience of a high school gym. Today's visit was much better. The club was quite nice as far as clubs go. A lot of black decor, neon, stage lights and mirrors. The furniture was comfortable, the club appeared clean and orderly. A dancer told me we were in the smaller club used on slower days. Rain was pouring outside, so that probably made the PLs late.
The stage was in the center of the room, and there was good visibility almost everywhere. The dancers seemed descend a staircase down to the stage, although there were stairs from the main floor as well. I got there about 45 minutes after opening, and apparently I was the first customer of the day. Over the next couple of hours, a few more drifted in, including a regular who brings bags of candy for the girls.
When I entered, there was a doorman/bouncer, a plus sized dancer and plus sized waitress who were talking, with no one else in sight. He asked to see my ID, which was laughable because I'm in my late 60's. Nonetheless, I entered without a cover charge, and took a seat near the wall where I could see the stage well without sitting stage-side. The waitress brought me a $4.75 soda, which I thought was reasonable by strip club standards, although it tasted terrible.
