What you would expect for its location

After a long stressful week at work, I wanted to relax and unwind. What better way to do it than drinks and women?

The northern Colorado are is sparse on clubs. I was ready to make the drive to Denver, but did some research and was pleasantly surprised to find that The Good Time Tavern is located very close by. Read some of the previous reviews and they were mixed so I decided to find out for myself. I didn't set my expectations high because of the location, small town, and of course it being the only option within an hours drive.

As the only strip club in the area, the location was actually convenient. Its on a quiet and empty side street. The sign was bright and visible from the road. The side street was quiet on this night, but I can see it being busier on the weekend. I noticed that there was a couple girls and the security guard outside talking and smoking. That usually means that its empty inside, busy clubs the girls go in the back to take their break. Parking was in front of the building.

Walked in a and the bouncer asked for ID but did not do a pat down. I was surprised because the area is not known as the best and I was expecting at least a wand check. Cover was $10 which was a little excessive since it was empty. Walking inside, the club itself was quite small with a very small There was a couple people at the bar, one girl on stage and a couple people sitting in the back area. The decor was more dive bar than strip club, which I imagine draws more regulars and locals. There was a very small squared stage stage to the left and the bar to the right, with a TV with the game on. The people seemed friendly and safe. I got a beer at the bar, the bartender was nice and friendly but it was overpriced in my opinion. This definitely felt like a bar that was converted into a strip club.
