First Time Visit

According to a friend of mine Cabaret East used to be called Jaguars and used to be pretty upscale. Today I would probably not use that word but it is not exactly ghetto either.

From the outside it is a nice looking club with a fairly large parking lot; including a large gravel lot out back. When you pull in you have a choice to either self-park or valet and while this is an industrial area I chose to self-park and felt fairly safe.

Upon entering the club, it had a very upscale feel to it with an open view of the club. There is a bar to your left and a Texas Hold’em poker table on the right near the VIP area. The VIP area is a partitioned off area with plush, high back seating with booths around the wall for dancing. I think you can buy memberships to this VIP area or pay as you go for like $30. They also have a number of televisions in the club (nothing like Baby Dolls though). Another interesting thing to note is that, apparently, they allow smoking in the club; however the ventilation seems to do a pretty good job.
