Lunch and then desert

Back on Friday afternoon in early June I visited Criket for the first time. What drew me to this place is the no-smoking, as reported by others on this site. Given that most bars and restaurants outside of the casinos are smoke free, it's difficult to explain to my wife I smell like smoke, which is what happens at the other clubs I've been to.

I put the address in the GPS, and it actually brought me to a place across the street from the club. The Michigan Avenue front to the club looked like an older and somewhat rundown neighborhood pub. The parking was in the back though off a side street, along with the entrance, and the back entrance was very up to date and modern looking.

Entered the club and was directed to sit on the non-VIP area. It was just after 1 pm, and I ordered food - fish and chips on special on Friday. The food was not bad, and the serving size was large, and the food was delivered quickly. I do admit to also liking the free buffet and the Landing Strip, but, the smoke is an issue at LS.
