What can I say, it was a Wednesday afternoon

On this day, early in the month I ended up downtown so I figured why not, maybe grab a drink, see a dance. Yeah, didn't quite go as I had hoped. If was about 5 in the afternoon so I really didn't expect much. The hours on the door said open at 3, so the club might be warming up by the time I got there.

I walked in, and the place wasn't bad, stage looked nice, then walked up to the second level where the bar sits. In the whole place were 3 dancers and a bartender. Nobody was actually dancing, and no music was playing. The girls looked to be decent, nothing extraordinary, but 1 seemed to be barely 18. The bartender was friendly and attentive, more so than the girls on this day. I took it all as a sign that this club and this afternoon were not for me, so after being there just long enough to take it all in, I was back out the door. The only good part as I noticed, was no cover, so I was able to get in and out without spending anything. I'm sure this place would be better in the evening, but on this afternoon, it was dead.
