There may be hope for Greenville

I rarely have the opportunity to hit the clubs late, but last night I had the whole night free, so I thought I would drop by the Trophy Club. Got there at 7:30 just in time to see the line-up, which they do prior to the 2 dances for $40 "special" (they do this every hour on the half hour). Unfortunately, the choices were not good - mostly over-weight, with a couple acceptable, but nothing to write home about.

The good news is that I didn't have to pay a cover (M-Th it is free until 8:00 PM) and got a happy hour 1/2 price drink. A red-headed dancer that was a big girl asked to sit down, and even though she wasn't my type, I didn't see anything that much better so I said OK. She was nice, good conversationalist - told me a lot about the money end of the Trophy Club. According to her, the dance prices are supposed to be $25 with $5 going to the club, but most girls will ask for $30 and some as high as $40.

The girls also have a tip-out which is based on how long you work - the longer you work the lower the tip-out, so if girls come in only during prime time-slots they pay more than the girls who start early and stay late.
