Not bad
In the area on business and looking for something to do. Didn't see too many options in KC for black clubs besides this one, so that helped focus my search. Rolled in at 11pm. No cover was charged with military id. When I parked initially, I drove into the lot that connects this club with Orielly's auto parts store. The store was closed for the night and I saw a few cars parked figuring they were club workers or patron vehicles, but I saw a sign that said the lot belongs to the auto store and you could be towed, so I pulled out and park on the side street next on the opposite side of the club. This is a neighborhood bar; no valet.
Quick pat down. Medium sized club with 1 small stage that is no higher than a foot off the ground. Dancers could hop on and off it with 1 step. 2 pool tables and open VIP area towards the rear right side of the club. Nice long bar with good number of high chairs, although the majority of seating in the club are low chairs and tables. I chose to sit at the end of the bar near the Megatouch game, which also placed the stage directly in front of me. Good running air conditioner, too. It was hot in the area this day!
Not too many patrons until a biker group showed up. Observed about 8 dancers, all black except 1 white girl. No DJ; girls fed juke box for their dance set. I actually prefer this as no DJ means no crazy comments on the mike and you get the full song.
