Monday evening

I went around 9:30 on Monday night, which they advertise as "sindustry" night. Cover was $10. Not very crowded when I showed up: All the seats at the downstairs long bar were taken, but only a few seats taken otherwise. Around 10 a different DJ set up on the upstairs balcony, taking away that one stage. They started with some sightly more EDM-type DJing, which also seemed like shorter songs. So that isn't very good if you're getting dances and paying per song.

I was getting a dance (from a dancer who used to work at the other downtown club btw), and I swear it was about ten or twelve minutes for 4 songs. Basically felt cheated out of a song. Dances are $25 each, FYI. I think there were about 20 dancers there, though one dancer swore there were only 14 there (that was around 10). Anyway, okay mix of dancers, though definitely on the thicker side, which isn't my preference. I guess with it being a Monday, what can you expect?

It got more crowded as the night wore on. They could have used a few more dancers. All in all, the club is nice, so I'll be back, but probably not on a Monday night. The length of the songs played by the guest DJ makes the dances effectively more expensive (and they are already 25 to start with), so be aware of that if you decide to go on a Monday.
