Very disappointing for a Friday night

Got here a little after 9 on a Friday night in July. I was expecting that a weekend night would see higher caliber dancers and a lot of energy in the place. Maybe 9 is too early but I was very disappointed.

The club itself is kind of small and there are basically 3 places to sit: 1) at the bar, 2) against the wall, 3) at the stage. With 5 barstools and a handful of wall seats, most of the seating is at the stage. Guess what... no one sits there. There were guys pushed up all around the walls standing there... no one wanting to get close to the stage. And no other options.

Of the 15 girls walking around, only 1 or 2 were what I'd consider attractive. Lots of overweight or pot-belly or just generally unattractive women. I was approached by about 5 or 6 of them. With most of them we had the same conversation: "Hi. What's your name? Do you want a dance?" I know they are there to make money but I've been to other clubs where they make small talk a bit first. The high-pressure sales tactics were a bit of a turnoff. That said, not all the girls did that. One in particular did sit on my chair with me and I tried to make conversation but let me tell you - it wasn't easy.
