Diamond in the Rough: Fantastic Club in a Not So Great Location

I made an unplanned visit during an afternoon on a Tuesday. I was passing through the neighborhood to get on to I-75 and noticed the club on a side road. I knew there is a Hustler club in Detroit, but never came across it. The club is not readily visible from the main road. No valet, no entrance fee, no tips in the bathroom. No one checked me at the door. As I entered, the bar is on the right side. The main floor is very a spacious two-story, with top notch furnishings and décor. The bathroom was squeaky clean and modern (no touch water faucet, soap dispenser and towels). This is probably the most luxurious club, at least among the few that I have seen.

The bartender was very gracious and courteous and charged me only $2 for drinks. She said that is the price on Tuesdays, and advised me that I can sit anywhere during the day hours with no charges. A waiter came along and gave me a bowl of popcorns and replaced it several times. I flipped through the info cards that was on my table. It looks like most of the weekdays, they have various drink deals and even 2-for-1 dances at $25 and on some days, they have half price appetizers (forgot which days).

There were only eight or so patrons and same number of girls. Often two of them danced at the same time in the center stage, and they have another stage on the side. The dancers were mixed: black and white in equal numbers during my stay, and some gets naked. Several staff was working, and they all greeted me when passed by my table. I ordered fish and chips from their impressive menu at an unbelievable price of $10.
