Wasted Time

Hopefully I can write enough about my recent visit to earn a review. L&L was my go to club back in the day and I've had some great times there. I was in Charlotte overnight recently and thought I would go by and check it out. Like a responsible monger, I took Uber to the club. As I walk toward the entrance, a dancer is sitting outside on the steps smoking. Little did I know that would be the highlight of the visit. I go in, order a beer and head to the bathroom.

On the way I see a decent looking dancer in her street clothes leaving for the evening. She and the dancer on the steps were the only dancers there! The smoking dancer came in finally and made a beeline for some older dude (and I'm old) leaving me an another patron at the bar. I finished my beer as I waited for my Uber to come and got the hell out of there. The last time I was there late, the place was packed with customers and dancers but it was a ghost town this particular night.

It wasn't just the night as I went from there to a nearby club and the place was hopping. Hopefully I happened to catch it on a bad night, but I'll wait to read some decent reviews before I venture there again.
