Chicago Fashion Show Format

My first trip to Mannheim Rd in about 10 years and I wish that I had not waited so long. J's is new to the scene and from limited experience it is a welcome addition. The club has a long bar with some high top tables. There is an alcove where private dances are performed on stools, but only one stool could be described as private. The barmaid was attractive and pleasant.

A beer was $4 or so. A non-employee woman came through toting a cooler and asked if I wanted to buy a tamale, so that was a little weird but not a problem. There were a number of attractive young women in stripper clothes that came in for a drink or to talk to friends, but they did not appear to be offering dances.

A private dance was offered for $25. I liked her sales technique. Before going to J's I had been washing my car, I got wet and changed into dry shorts but I didn't have dry underwear so I went commando. That turned out to be fortunate. I had only one dance because there were so many other girls in the bar. Only two others approached me. Of the two, one was crazy and the other was very large. I left without another dance but I can't wait to get back there.
