FROM SLOW TO *WHOA*

Got back late last night from a business trip to Atlanta that included a three-day Follies binge – a solo visit last Wednesday (see separate review already posted), the Six Old White Guys TUSCL Take-Over on Thursday, and a final solo trip on Sunday. The TUSCL meet-up was really great – saw old friends and made some new ones – but it never stopped me from taking advantage of the never-ending parade of lady parts that were presented to me for close inspection at $10 a dance. Mighty fine.

Got there Sunday at opening (1:00); plenty of free parking, a $5.00 cover, a trip through the metal detector and quick pat-down by an OK-looking girl. Took over shadowcat's vacant seat at a high-top table in the corner and waited for the girls to start popping out of the dressing room. I know it's always slow at opening, but it was really sparse for 45 minutes or more, and the girls I saw seemed to be the B Team – at best. Quite a few PAWGs, but not very attractive in their PAWG-ness. By 2:00, the place had started filling up with both customers and girls, but I thought the quality was way down from my previous visits this week.

But you know, like Forrest Gump's mom always said, "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." One thing I've learned at Follies is that at $10 a VHM dance, you can sample a lot of chocolates – as well as vanilla creams and everything in between. For me, anyway, it's pretty easy to tell at Follies after a dance or two – and a few well-designed questions – who is likely to be fun in the VIP. Even with the B Team roaming the floor, it really only takes finding one girl who can turn the world on with her smile, and who can take a nothing day and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile. I finally found one on Sunday, and we were off to the VIP for 30 minutes of exquisite mutual enjoyment. Whoa!
