Small dive with a strange feel

So, after reading the reviews and someone suggesting I check BD's out, I decided to stop in on a Friday around 8:00. Having been in Phoenix about a half dozen times and to only two other places, I thought the small dive would have potential compared to the larger venues.

Parking lot was full and thought this could be a good sign. Get to the door and got ID check, pat down, and paid the $8 cover. Bar is relatively small with main bar down one side and a small stage opposite the bar. As I walked to the bar, there were regulars seated at the bar which was packed and a group of people hanging by the doorway to the stage area and along the wall opposite the bar. Got a beer from a really cute lady at least an 8 in my book but she was a bartender and decided to scope out the dancers. In the time it took me to drink my beer, I saw at least 7 ladies none of whom I'd rate better than a 6. Went into the stage room and there were 2 girls seated against the wall and no one dancing. Both were solid 4's and I got the impression that I wasn't going to find a lady I was interested in other than the bartender. Went back to the bar and only one girl approached me, Latina, thicker than normal, but not my type and was only going through the actions. After a few more minutes of very small talk she left to sit with a regular and I got the impression I was wasting my time in a Friday. Finished my beer and headed out.

Really did't get the impression that BD's has that many 7-9's but could have been an off night or wrong time. Going to try again on a different night to see if there is better potential. Will add to the review after my return trip.
