Split Review
I have been to Cheeks a few times over the years but do not frequent this place on a regular basis by any means. I went on a Thursday night, got there around 830 kind of guessing the place would not be too busy and the customer to dancer ratio would be in my favor. I was right about the place not being too busy, and it seemed like there were more dancers than customers, but the problem was the dancers would go on stage and then either go the back or go right to the guy they were with earlier (assume these were regulars).
I stayed for over an hour, tipped a few girls on stage, but none came over to talk, ask for a dance, etc. Maybe it was too early but place seemed kind of dead, so I left to meet some friends at another bar. So based on this first part of night, my review would not have been too favorable, but since my friends disbanded somewhat early (~midnight), I decided to go back to Cheeks on my way home.
Now this is where things got more interesting, the place was packed with customers and seemed to be a good amount of dancers. No tables were open, so I walked around for a bit before eventually settling near the bar. Watched a few girls on stage, seemed to be a lot more energy in their performances and the place overall, lots of guys tipping on stage.
