Decent stop but nothing to rave about

Stopped in on a Thursday evening just past 8pm. It's kind of a guideline I have to gauge how happening a club is. If they draw a nice crowd pre-weekend then they're usually in good shape as far as dancers go. Check out Sassy's, Dolphin, Lucky Devil, or Club 205 on a Thursday for example.

Anyhow, Sunset wasn't completely dead on this night, but it was on life support. There were three dancers in the rotation, and I think one more getting off her shift but still working the floor. Maybe 8 patrons kinda milling around.

Dancer quality is pretty decent, and plenty of opportunity to interact with them since it wasn't busy. But I can't get down with this hustle that dances start at $40 so you don't have to sit on your hands. That's fuckin ridiculous and makes me want to stick to veterans who know the game. I hope club owners get ahold of this nonsense soon because I'm not trying out a dancer at $40 starters here in Portland. Hook me at $20 and upsell me when I'm sprung. Like God intended.
