Not a bad change of pace

Was in Dallas recently and I wanted to try something different. With the number of Hispanic dancers that have overrun Baby Dolls I decided to go ahead and try a Hispanic club; Chicas Locas (the old Cabaret Royale).

The club itself is very large and even though I was using the GPS in my rental car it seemed tough to find (not sure why). I paid the cover ($13, I think) and went in. My first impression of the inside was not too bad, medium lighting and relatively comfortable chairs around the stages on the first floor.

There were around 10 girls working; 9 were Hispanic and one Thai. They were rather slow to circulate and when they got to you they were pretty pushy about getting a drink, dance, tip, something. Most were pretty upfront about extras and most greeted you with the stripper handshake. I have read a couple of reviews about using Google Translate and I thought they were joking but it was amazing how little English I heard that night; this includes the DJ and waitresses.
