Dancer, visiting as a customer

Came as a customer and had the best experience possible. It was 2-2:30pm, ~15 dancers and 15-20 customers, the place was bumpin. Great music and dancer variety. 90%+ of the customers were white men over the age of 50. Dancers there was one, maybe 2 AA and the rest white or white-passing. Constantly girls coming in and out of the VIP, so from a dancer POV there seems to be money flowing. Didn't see much for stage tips, but girls were definitely working the floor.

Had one girl stop by for about one song, but my friend and I are both 21 so we're clearly not very profitable for her and she departed after we turned down a VIP. Definitely on her hustle, I respect it. Another girl, Pixie, sat for probably 5 songs, which was very appreciated. She's probably the reason we will both be returning and why I want to try working there myself. Very friendly, perky, and uplifts the mood in the room. Good for conversation as well as info on the club in general, you can tell she legitimately enjoys working there. She also kept my strip club virgin friend occupied. Both girls mentioned they don't really drink, which is a nice change of pace since the clubs are typically full of drunks and coke/dope-heads.

Every girl on stage has a distinct dance style and the outfits are creative, even if it's just a simple piece that glows in the black light. The waitress was nothing impressive, and there's quite a few large men bouncers always within a few feet so I feel it's a very safe environment for the girls. My asthmatic self appreciated smoking being kept in one room, and the bathroom design/architecture was fancy/nice. This is the 11th Detroit/metro Detroit club I've visited in 3 years and by far the most impressed I've ever been. I wish I had time to get a dance during this trip.
