Incredulous...

I stopped by this place on the way up from PG county as I was waiting to check in my hotel. This was around 3pm. Located in what I assume is downtown Baltimore on a place called the block. Several strip clubs in this area including two other black clubs (Club Lust and 2'oclock club). I'm always skeptical about clubs that are in downtown areas or business districts. Soon as I got to the door the bartender who damn near met me right at the door said that they were open but they didn't have any girls. Since it took me forever to find parking, I decided to go in and have a beer.

The deer was $7. Club looks kinda fancy. Like a high end club. Actually remind me of Gfive in regards to the atmosphere. Eventually a chick which I assume was a dancer but she was dressed came and sat by me. We chatted and had a pretty good conversation. She told me that the place usually doesn't start jumping until after 5 and that that's when more girls probably would come. She also said that the dancers are I think $30 a song or 3 for $60. And that was not a VIP dance. And as I observed the layout, I didn't see any ViP areas or even areas to get a good, private dance in the event that I came back. So then the bartender asks me if I wanted to by the girl a drink. I said sure and just put a $10 bill on the counter. I mean surely no drink costs more than that right? Wrong. As she walks by and sees the $10 she says dancers drinks are $20. WHAT? $20 for a drink? No thank you.

So I ask the girl why the drinks for dancers cost so much and she says because the dancers get a commission on drinks when customers buy for dancers. What a scam. I've been to a shit ton of strip club and never seen this type of shit before. A dancer with commission structure? GTFOH! That's laughable at best. I don't mind buying dancers drinks but who in their right mind pays that amount for a drink when every where else is selling it for a fourth of the price. So needless to say, I left and had no intentions of returning.
