Babe's has been a hit or miss experience fro a number of years. It is a small club that seems to survive by offering a steady diet of dance and drink specials. The daytime is usually your best bet, since the evening can be crowded, particularly with college age guys. Daytime dances are always $10 and that special goes through the entire evening on Wednesdays. Babe's is owned by the same folks that own the nearby Palace and San Antonio Men's Club. Not much privacy can be found in the club besides the two back corner tables. However, these are monopolized by "regulars" that seem to post-up there all day long. Despite that, I have received some very high mileage and "satisfying" dances at Babe's. If you go in the day, ask for Lorainne!
