Great Discovery After Tiring Of The Usual Strip Clubs

I feel like I just discovered a hidden gem. After tiring a bit of Flashdancers and a few others, I read about Lido and it sounded intriguing. I tried it for the first time tonight, arriving at midnight at the Midtown West location. It was fairly quiet - a lot of girls sitting in twos and threes with no guys - and the vibe was distinctly chill compared to a typical strip club. The girls were notably higher quality than what I've seen recently in the usual clubs, and a lot friendlier (and probably more Americans).

I then realized that the rooftop bar is only for drinks and sitting & talking, and then if you like a girl, you go back downstairs to a separate room for lap dances. This is actually a pretty interesting and effective setup, and I found myself a few times in the elevator taking note of the other girls that other guys had chosen. It all has a sort of "friendlier" feel to it - I wouldn't quite go so far as to say it was like a party that just happened to have a bunch of friendly hot girls there... but you know, it actually kinda did feel that way. :)

The $50 cover and the extra step to get an invitation (I actually had to show my email at the door) is probably just enough to keep the quality higher than normal and give it a more upscale feel. I will definitely be going back as I hit it off nicely with one girl in particular and would love to see her again. Top rating from me.
