Downswing exaggerated

I had a meetup with all the TUSCLers that I haven’t pissed off at one time or another on the 3rd. That’s right, I was alone. But I went primarily to get some intel on whether the recent posts about club changes are real or bogus (and to get my penis played with a bit), and I’m glad I did.

I got there around 1:30 on a Monday afternoon. There was a parking attendant sitting in a beach chair and the lot was almost full. I don’t remember ever seeing an attendant there on a weekday afternoon, only on weekends, and they only charge non-clubgoers. It must have been for the 4th of July 4-day weekend because there were a lot of beachgoers walking around. The lot was almost full, but not the club. It wasn’t dead by any means, about 20 customers and almost as many dancers. No cover as usual before 7pm. Beer is still $5.50 and you get a free shot with it. For some reason a shot of Patron is a $2 surcharge.
