First Visit
So, Playmates! I was on my way from Rochester to Buffalo so I decided to take a small detour to see what Playmates was all about. It’s out in the country but not hard to find. The building is run down and small. You enter through a mud room with a few garden tools, soil amendment bags and some other assorted trash, although I didn’t see any landscaping.
The outside door is stuck half way open. The bar is on the left and you pay the bartender. I took the $65 entry that gets you entry, a drink (non-alcoholic) and 3 dances with the same girl, all in a row (i.e. no mixing it up to try different dancers). The club was not busy and no one was on stage, so before I paid I asked if there were girls working. The bartender said she had 5 girls, so in I went. The club has a few tables and a central island stage with a pole. They don’t have a DJ so the girls set up their music on a PA and then go on stage.
Songs seemed uncut and there is often a dead air gap between between songs. This seemed like a good thing from the point of view of private dances. After I went in I stood at the bar to get my drink. The bartender was a large gal who seemed kind of grumpy. She ignored me and kept doing other things behind the bar, passing by me several times and talking to a couple of the girls. I finally got her attention and got my diet coke. There were 5 or 6 guys in the club and over the 2 hours I was there some came and some went to keep the total about the same. Right after I got in, Barbie, a tall thin blond went on stage. She was a cute 8 and one guy went up to the stage during her dance.
