A surprise

I was in Philadelphia for one night Monday July 3 (holiday weekend) and decided to try Gold Club again. I was there about 5 weeks previously - see my earlier review for logistical details. This time I was there from about 8:45 to 10. The lap dances are $30 for timed 4 minutes. The bouncers do the timing on their cell phones and there seemed some amount of inconsistency with some times being a little short and others over the 4 minutes.

The dances are in small rooms with curtains that stay open. The bouncers don't look in during the dance although there may be sight lines into other rooms. More expensive options I believe use the same rooms but are for longer times and have the curtain closed. I noticed that when paying the dancer with at $20 and a $10 she immediately gave one of the bills, presumably the $10, to the club. The dances were topless and allowed two way touching of uncovered areas.

There were about 8 dancers which was more than the number of customers. I had dances with 4 of them. The first was a tall thin blonde from Australia, with accent to match. The dance was OK but not extraordinary so I left it at one. The second dancer was a shorter brown haired girl with a lot of tats, she may have been a white-hispanic mix. She said she was 23 and from Texas. Again nothing special and only one dance. The third was a tall somewhat heavier white woman with medium sized breasts, probably about 30. I had asked her to return and see me after her stage dance. Her dancing was somewhat better including use of hands over the pants and I went with 2 with her. She was the only one to ask for a tip in addition to the fee.
