I've visited this club many times...

I've visited this club many times over the past 10 years or so. It had become my favorite in Las Vegas because of its comfy ambiance. Not fancy, but laid back and comfortable. Most of the girls were generous with their attention to the customer's wishes. Expecting more of the same, I'm sorry to report that I was disappointed on my latest visit.

It was a Sunday afternoon. Granted this is not the best time to visit a strip club. Still, the place was about half full. The first thing I noticed was the qualitiy of the dancers. None would rate over a 5 in my book. There were a number of 4's because of their weight - 30 to 50 pounds above the ideal for their height. Next downer was the overbearing presence of bouncers with radios. One dude posted himself, arms crossed, leaning agianst a post, about 10 feet from the main lapdance area. He stood there for the entire time glaring at the customers and dancers. He never said a word to anyone, but just stood there in a menacing way. Needless to say this put a big damper on the quality of the dances.

I did manage to have a good time anyway by carefully picking the right girl and retreating to a seat that was out of the way. Still, she spent the entire time watching her back. This is something that you never had to worry about in the past. I understand that the owner of this club has some legal problems lately, and that probably accounts for the change in atmosphere. Too bad. It just isn't the same club I remember.
