Low budget and low on talent

I had read that this place along with XTC were the best "black" clubs in dfw. My last attempt at checking this place out was a failure because we got there way too early in the day for a BYOB after-hours joint. I rolled in this evening with a few friends.

After we parked, a white SUV at the front of the lot rolled its window down and a shifty looking fella told us that parking would be $5. As I could smell the cheap weed wafting out of his window, I asked him whether he was a full time employee or contract hourly for the club. After receiving a non-answer, I paid him what I openly referred to as the "don't jack my car" fee. The comedic value of having this story to tell was worth the $5.

Cover this night was $7 a head. The club is small and looks like it was decorated with the same artistic sense of an elementary school Halloween festival. It's dark (not just the lighting but the walls and furniture were also dark) inside with really low ceilings. The club is BYOB and we had plenty of booze with us.
