Visited: Friday Afternoon

Flying in and out of Detroit on business , so decided to extend trip by a couple of days for some relaxation activities as suggested on this site. Had a route of clubs to visit and a plan in place to maximize my time. Thank you TUSCL PL's!!!!! All the frequently reviewed clubs were on the list Bogarts, Flight Club, Henry VII, Coli, etc., so with review highlights in phone off I go on this Friday at 11 am. Stopped at Bogarts first but left after 1 hour as there was 3 times the customers to dancers and bartender said Saturday might be better.

Flight Club was working on parking lot so I skipped it. Henry VII was a wash at 1230 as all girls were 4 at best. Travelling toward Coli, I see The Silver Cricket on my right. As a help, the entrance to the club is on the next street below Michigan Ave. Entered to no fee. Bar along right wall, booths along left wall, elevated stage in center running length of room, tables on floor around stage and VIP/dance area straight back. Sat down and got my $3.50 beer from a cute waitress. Saw approx. 7 to 8 customers with 12 to 15 dancers either sitting at bar, having lunch in booths, sitting with customers at tables two on stage dancing. Dancers were 4 to 8 with majority in the 6 to 8 range. 1 AA, 3 Latin, 3 Middle Eastern, 5 White, and 2 that were Asian , I think.

I settled in at a table along back wall next to elevated entrance to vip/dance area (always staffed with a bouncer) with a great view of stage. Over the next 30 minutes, I tipped each girl on stage a few bucks and was visited by each with a Thank You and some pleasant no pressure conversation at my table. Since I saw no dances take place on the floor, I asked and was told dances are done in back dance area.
