A nice, friendly, neighboorhood club
Being that I recently visited Legends downtown, I decided to visit their sister club, Players on 8 Mile. While there are some similarities between the clubs on the main floor layout, these are two completely different clubs. Legends seems to cater more towards a younger, party crowd, while Players caters more towards an older crowd. As a result, the dancers at Players seemed to be an older group than what I saw at Legends, but not by much. Most of the dancers I saw at Players appeared to be either in their late 20's or early-to-mid 30's.
I arrived at Players on a Friday evening just before 9pm so I did not have to pay the cover charge to get into the club. There was still the mandatory valet, which was $7. Once I got inside the club, I saw all but one table near the stage was occupied, and maybe one or two booths were available, but I did not want to pay to sit at a booth when I had no one else with me. I went straight to the bar to order a beer, which was $4. However, there were no seats available to sit at the bar, and by this time the one table near the stage that was open was now occupied, so once I got my beer, I just had no choice but to stand somewhere between the bar and stage.
As I began to look around and survey the talent, I was approached by a dancer and we engaged in conversation. She was the spinner type, with natural B-cups, tan skin and black hair. I'd rate her an 8. We made our way over to the bar and I bought her a drink. There was now a seat open so I let her sit while I continued to stand. Eventually, one of the seats next to her was vacated, and I got to sit down. We had a lengthy conversation and then got around to the discussion about dances. I asked about FS, and it was on her menu, but what she quoted was way too high of a price. I gave her a counter offer and she said she would think about it.
