Great time last weekend

I definitely like to do my research, so I knew what I was getting into when I visited the Hip Hugger last weekend. The building is a little bit back off the closest main street, so I had to circle around before I found it, but I pulled in around 1am last Saturday night. It was late, the the place was packed. Other reviews had mentioned how dark the club is, but it was actually pretty well lit when I got there, so I don't know if things have changed at all.

The main (and only) stage is against the wall to the right of the entrance, the bar is straight ahead, and there's some pool tables to the left. The shadowy wall where the "private" dances go down is far to the right when you enter. Since it was still kinda well lit, it wasn't hard to see what was going on back there.

I entered alone and went and got a couple beers and watched the dancers perform for a while. The place was open until 3am I believe, but I only stayed about an hour, and planned on spending about $100 total. The beers were $3 a pop, but the glasses were a little small. I paid $5 each as a tip to the nice older bartender lady. The tables were full infront of the stage, with a huge mix of people. I saw "hillbilly" type dudes, a lot of younger guys, and a few groups of young guys and girls who were there having a good time. Older guys were drinking at the bar and playing pool. There's no DJ, just the jukebox, but the songs the dancers chose were fun and definitely full length, which mattered when I got my dances.
