Dance value okay; food value great
I was in SF on business recently, and I stopped by Gold Club for lunch. I can get the free buffet and chalk up a couple of drinks as "lunch" on the expense report. (No way to do that for dances, sadly.) The food is . . . decent, I'd say, not great. But for the price, it's pretty good. The physical layout is pretty standard, and I don't really like the armchairs, but that's life.
After I ate and had a glass of bourbon, I got a couple of dances from a slender brunette in blue matching lingerie. Very pretty, although I prefer more curves, and she didn't allow any roaming. There was nothing on the menu but food and alcohol, which I knew (and wouldn't have ordered even if it was), but I suppose it's always useful to confirm.
I had another drink, paid up, and headed back into the sunshine. I always find myself blinking a lot as my eyes get readjusted.
