Too Much Hustle

I've enjoyed Expose on other trips to Austin. The club went through a remodel a few years ago, is pretty dark inside, has a nice row of comfy benches, a reasonably priced VIP, and has had a nice vibe to it whenever I've spent my time and money there -- until this most recent trip.

I arrived around 5:30. The evening shift had not yet begun to show, and the day shift girls must have had a bad day of it. I've never encountered such a persistent hustle from one girl after another. Misquoting the dance price, upselling, miscounting the dances. You name it, I found it here.

I'm guessing (hoping?) that this is a one-off and not a trend. I don't come to Expose often enough to be considered a regular, so maybe this was just a bad day and the girls were simply trying to meet their financial expectations. But it was off-putting. I've had enough good evenings here that I will certainly go back. But this club is too nice to slide downhill like this.
