One more time

After an absence, I stopped in because the name had changed (from Scores back to Trophy Club). Actually, I visted several times over 2 weeks on different days, always arriving before 8pm.

The inside looked the same; the same $6 cover if you get in after 8pm (no cover if you get in before 8pm -- which is my goal). On the inside many of the same bouncers are there; the layout is the same. Two changes -- unsurprisingly, different dancers and I've been told by more than one dancer that the Skybox is closed. Oh, the DJ sounds the same -- affected AM-disc-jockey voice from the mid 60's such that his words cannot be understood, including unintelligably announcing the dancers names. Really, do the dancers a favor, speak there name clearly.

As previously, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are slower than Thrusday, and those three days are slower than Friday and Saturday evenings. NOTE: between 7:30 - 9:00 PM the number of dancers slowly increases, most are on the floor about 9. 2 for 1 dances (well sorta) are held every hour on the half-hour. Why sorta? Normal couch dances are $30; but 2 for 1 dances are $40 (I obviously don't understand what 2 for 1 means - damned nothern education.). The VIP is $50 to the club for either 15 min or 30 min; for 1 hour the club gets $100 (that the customer pays). The dancers charge $150 for the 15 min and then upto $300 for the 30 min. Once got pissed with me when I tried to negotiate a lower rate, (she was only an average looker) she made some smart assed comment, I replied that I can have a top escort visit my place for an entire hour for $400, why would I spend $400 for 30 in a club? Fortunately, she didn't call my bluff.
