Done with this place

This really used to be one of my all-time Pinellas county favorites and I've probably been there over 50 times. With that sad, I'm done. They will not get another dollar from me. The new owners have shown that they would prefer to cater to the local wannabe gangsta trash than anyone who might actually have a job. This is not something new but has been happening gradually over the last year. I've noticed less and less white customers (and dancers) in this place and it's starting to take on a whole new personality. It used to feel like a neighborhood bar with lots of regulars and snow-bird types in the winter, but that's all gone.

For those of you who remember the old guy from MN who was always working as bathroom attendant, you know what I'm talking about. But the last few times I've been, nothing but gangsta rap. Thugs hanging out in the parking lot, obviously the boyfriends or pimps of the tweaked out tattooed gals working there. It's really sad. Also, they've raised the prices of all the drinks like they think they are the Spearmint Rhino in Vegas or something. $10 for a crown & ginger before 9 pm? $35 for a single dance??? Only a matter time before they have some kind of incident either inside the club or in the parking lot. The new owners have made their choice. Good luck with all that, but this one won't be there to see it it all come crumbling down around you.
