First time visit

Decided to run around the corner and make my first visit to Venom, and on a Friday evening, a time I usually don't go to a club. I had considered visiting Venom a few years ago and just didn't get a good feeling about the place. But on this night being close by and the desire to see what all the reviews were talking about convinced me to try it out. I figured if it wasn't my kind of place I could always go to my favorite club a few miles down the road.

Recent reviews spoke about the variety of ethnicities of the dancers and some great fun to be had at this jiggle joint. Pull in after negotiating an odd parking lot entrance. If you are not headed south on Craycroft you will have to figure it out, nothing crazy just inconvenient. Found a spot to park right in front and walked into a small, crowded entrance. After a light pat-down and wand scan, I paid 7 for cover to a cute door girl. It took a moment to get past the crowd of a few employees, door guys, bouncers, a dancer or two and a small table to enter the club.

It was dark inside but not as dark as other clubs I've been in. Not very crowded and I was surprised it never did get very crowded as it got later in the evening. I left around 11 and there was still only a small crowd of patrons. Unless there were more people tucked away in the Cabana area or other nooks and crannies this club seemed to have. Anyway, found a seat and it wasn't long before a nice looking Latina was at my side and then a very cute waitress took my drink order. The Latina was friendly and interested me so as soon as she took her turn on stage we found a quiet corner, one of those nooks and crannies, and had a few nice dances. This is where things got weird, well, maybe not for a strip club. She and I had been having a good time and getting along very well. She left her drink, which I had not paid for, and excused herself to the rest room saying "I'll be right back". Never saw her again. She just vanished. I will never understand dancers who do this. I think she got dressed and left, and left me sitting there with a pocket full of cash and an understanding she would be back in a short time.
