Pin Ups
Pin Ups is a somewhat low-end club in north Fort Worth. Although low end, I wouldn’t call it a dive. It’s on the lower end of mid-tier. It seems to clean and generally well maintained, but very plain. The club is basically a big square room. The main stage is to the far left after you enter. There is a big island bar in the middle with a smaller stage attached to the right side of the bar. Past the bar is a couple of pool tables. The lap dance area is along the wall to the right of the entrance.
I can’t remember the cover charge for sure. I think it was $5, but it could have been $10. I know it wasn’t over $10 or I would remember. A domestic beer at the bar was a reasonable $2.75.
I visited Pin Ups after midnight on a Thursday after leaving Buck’s Cabaret, which is only about five minutes away. Buck’s was still hopping when I left, but Pin Ups was almost empty. There were maybe a dozen guys there, at most, and half of those were playing pool. There were only about a half-dozen dancers, a couple black and the rest white. The dancer quality here was a big step down from Bucks. They ranged from 4 to 6. There was a curvy blonde with big boobs I might rate a 7. Most were 4 or 5.
