Bucks
Arrived about 10:30 p.m. on a Thursday evening. The parking lot was pretty busy, but I don’t know if they charge for parking as I Ubered over. The door guy used a hand held scanner to attempt to scan my drivers license, which I didn’t like. However, I have on older drivers license and he couldn’t get it to scan anyway. The cover charge was $12—kind of pricey.
However, the drink prices made up for it. Domestic beer was only $1.50. I think imports were a buck more. I asked the bartender if there was some kind of special going on. She said that was the regular weekday price, but the price went up on Friday and Saturdays. I don’t remember what she said the weekend price was.
Buck’s is not fancy, but it’s not a dive. I would call it solidly mid-tier. It’s pretty big, laid out in a big square. The main bar is to the right, there is a smaller bar in a nook on the left wall next to the VIP entrance. I didn’t go in the VIP area, but it appeared to be a communal area.
