I'm through Atlanta all the time and actually pass by Magic City a lot on the way to games because it's just of the I-20 exit I use. I always wanted to go check it out but as life works , time flies. One night I was half bombed and bored with the usual haunts and with a driver I use a lot and trust so said take me to MC. It was about 1am and the driver just gave me the look. We drove downtown and he waited in the parking lot for me.

The doorman got me for $30 checked to see If I was carrying which I was not because I left all my stuff with the driver. I got inside and the place was hoping. I tipped well along the way to a spot as close to the bar as I could get because it was 2 to 3 deep and took it all in. I've been to clubs all over the country and even all over the world and I never saw dancers on a pole doing the craziness they were doing in there . It was very entertaining . 3 or 4 girls on the same pole . I'm a 70s and 80s rocker who likes old country too but I don't wear mule blinders either and the music was perfect .

Had some beers , tip the dancers on stage and got several lap and stand up type dances. I remember seeing maybe one other white face in the place that night and sure I got a few hairy eyeballs but green talks and BS walks. The dancers were cool to me , the wait staff and floor men were cool to me and even the bathroom attendant was cool to me.
