No frills
I went to Mickey's for the first and last time on a Saturday evening around 6:30. Odd entrance with a couple of guys playing cards at a table that asked for a $5 cover. The bar is quite large and doubles as the stage. The surroundings are old an in need of some updating to compete with more modern venues in my opinion. After sitting at the bar for about 5 min the bartender came over and I ordered a can of beer. There was one girl dancing on the stage at the other end of the bar. She was perhaps a 5 and spend several songs with one customer and never really moved.
While she was on stage/bar there were no other girls in sight. It was early but I think there should be some sign of dancers. Finally the set was over and a older dancer came out. I guess maybe late 40's and looked road weary. She got up on stage/bar and went over to the other end of the bar a proceeded to spend time with the one customer. I looked around and did see they had private dance areas. Booths with curtains but they were not in use.
I finished my beer, went to the bathroom which was in bad need of cleaning and left to go to another club. As far as I could tell Mickey's did not offer a comfortable atmosphere, great looking dancers, friendly dancers or anything of real value. No need to waste my time.
