I went to The Candy Factory around 23:00 on a Saturday night. The club is right at the intersection of US 30 and Illinois 251. The parking lot is gravel. The cover charge was $5. Sincweisers were $3. The Candy Factory is one large room with a runway stage running down the middle. There is a wooden railing separating the patrons from the dancers, but that did not prohibit the dancers from giving Stevies. The front pole position spins, while the rear pole position appears to be stationary.

Entertainers did two song sets. The bar is small compared to the overall size of the club. There are two pool tables. Overpriced snacks are available in vending machines. The club will also cook up hot dogs for $3 each. About half of the music played was country. The clientele was mostly local yokels and Mexicans. Overall, The Candy Factory felt like a dive bar or a VFW hall with strippers.

Topless lap dances are $25 per song. Nude lap dances are $35 per song. A ten minute nude dance session is $100. These prices caused me to double check that I was in Compton, Illinois and not Chicago, Illinois. Private dances take place in a room in the front wall of the club. The doorway was covered by a red curtain. I did not see any customers taking dancers back there. Most customers just sat at tables all night drinking beer, only marginally interested in the stage show. Dancers would strip off their tops on stage, but none of them got fully nude.
