sinclair's Review
I stopped by the High Heel Saloon at on a Saturday night at 21:30. The cover charge was $7. A Sincweiser was $4. The club is split into two rooms. The front room has video gambling machines, an Internet jukebox, a small stage, and a bar on the right wall. The back room is much larger and was where the stripper action was at.
The main stage is shaped like a dog bone with two spinning pole positions. The left wall is dominated by a bar. The DJ is on a perch in the corner. Dancers were doing four song sets, but the songs appeared to not be full length. The club has a Happy Hour from 16:00 to 19:00 Tuesday through Saturday. Domestic beers are $3 and rail mixed drinks are $4.
Lap dances take place in a separate room at the back of the club. Topless dances are $25, and nude dances are $30. I did not see anybody getting private dances. The fifteen or so patrons seemed content to just tip the stage show. The High Heel Saloon is in the middle of nowhere and charging Chicago prices for lap dances.
